| The waterfront location of
Leonard’s Landing Lodge is dominated by the view
of the spectacular Wrangell-St. Elias Mountains
that stretch from West to East just north of
Yakutat, Alaska. Yakutat is located on MontI Bay
along the south side of Yakutat Bay not far from
where it cuts in from the Gulf of Alaska. At the
head of the bay is the breathtaking Hubbard
Glacier, the largest tidewater glacier in the
world. The lodge is made up of 8 waterfront
cabin style units and 3 larger units that are
all equipped with cooking facilities and private
baths. Hotel rooms are also offered for the
budget minded traveler and guests now have
access to a common kitchen and barbecuing deck
with propane barbecue for meal preparation. |

|
| From the world renowned Situk River to the expansive Hubbard
Glacier, the Yakutat area is an outdoor paradise. Located
near the northern end of the southeast panhandle of Alaska,
the area boasts ocean beaches that stretch forever and
mountains that plummet to the sea. Saltwater and river
fishing for halibut, ling cod, and steelhead, plus all the
salmon-king, sockeye, pink, and silvers, is fantastic.
