waterfront location of Leonard’s Landing Lodge
is dominated by the view of the spectacular
Wrangell-St. Elias Mountains that stretch from
West to East just north of Yakutat, Alaska.
Yakutat is located on MontI Bay along the south
side of Yakutat Bay not far from where it cuts
in from the Gulf of Alaska. At the head of the
bay is the breathtaking Hubbard Glacier, the
largest tidewater glacier in the world. The
lodge is made up of 8 waterfront cabin style
units and 3 larger units that are all equipped
with cooking facilities and private baths. Hotel
rooms are also offered for the budget minded
traveler. |

| From the world renowned Situk River to the expansive Hubbard
Glacier, the Yakutat area is an outdoor paradise. Located
near the northern end of the southeast panhandle of Alaska,
the area boasts ocean beaches that stretch forever and
mountains that plummet to the sea. Saltwater and river
fishing for halibut, ling cod, and steelhead, plus all the
salmon-king, sockeye, pink, and silvers, is fantastic.
Adventures on foot, by boat, plane, or vehicle immediately
find the visitor in the Alaskan wilderness with abundant
wildlife, wild flowers, birds, and natural splendor. |

| Leonard’s Landing Lodge is
known for waterfront cabins with fully equipped
kitchens. Lodging is available for 1 to 88
guests-comfortable for individuals, families or
groups. Other services include fish cleaning,
vacuum packing, and freezing, boat rentals for
salt water and rivers, plus tackle and gift
shop. Fish cleaning stations and a walk-in
freezer are available for the do-it-yourselfer.
Leonard’s has its own private private dock on
the salt water from which your charter or rental
boating adventure can begin. |
