The waterfront location of Leonardís Landing Lodge is dominated by the view of the spectacular Wrangell-St. Elias Mountains that stretch from West to East just north of Yakutat, Alaska. Being situated on a peninsula, you could experience both beautiful sunsets & colorful sunrises over the mountains. Yakutat is nestled in Monti Bay along the south side of Yakutat Bay not far from where it cuts in from the Gulf of Alaska. At the head of the bay is the breathtaking Hubbard Glacier, the largest tidewater glacier in North America.

The lodge is made up of 7 waterfront cabin style units & 3 larger units with fully equipped kitchens & private baths. Basic hotel rooms are also offered in the main lodge for the budget minded traveler.  Hotel guests share a full common kitchen with adjacent view deck & propane barbecue. With our lodging options we welcome single travelers, families, large groups, & conferences.

From the world renowned Situk River to the expansive Hubbard Glacier, Yakutat Forelands is an outdoor paradise. Located at the northern end of the southeast panhandle of Alaska, the area boasts ocean beaches that stretch forever & mountains that plummet to the sea. Saltwater & river fishing for halibut, ling cod, & steelhead, plus all the salmon-king, sockeye, pink, & coho, is fantastic. Adventures on foot, by boat, plane, fat-tire bike, vehicle or on an ATV tour find the visitor in the Alaskan wilderness with abundant wildlife, wild flowers, birds, & natural splendor.

Leonardís Landing Lodge is known for waterfront cabins with fully equipped kitchens. Lodging is available for 1 to 88 guests-comfortable for individuals, families or groups. Other services include fish processing with vacuum packing, boat rentals to include drift boats, ocean skiffs, and kayaks, plus gift & tackle shop. Fish cleaning stations and a walk-in freezer are available for the do-it-yourselfer. Leonardís has its own private dock on the salt water from which your charter or rental boating adventure can begin.
